A planner for iPhone that re-solves your day as it goes, since days rarely go to plan.

A cupolet is a stable orbit pulled out of a chaotic system by very small, well-timed nudges. Cupolet is named after it and tries to do the same to your day.

Cupolet tries to fit in as much of what you want as your life has room for, in roughly the proportions you choose. It ranks your work by what each task is worth to you against the time it takes, keeps your categories near the mix you chose, and puts hard tasks where your day can take them.

Cupolet will reach the App Store when it can hold more than my own data. The date is not decided yet.

How it decides, and what it does when the day moves.

Quick jobs get done early instead of piling up, because each task is weighed by what it’s worth to you against the time it takes. Deadlines don’t reorder anything until one is at risk. Long work is split around what can’t move, and your categories stay near the mix you chose.

When the day moves, the order you were shown is kept. Finishing early doesn’t pull later tasks forward. If a task runs into something fixed or pinned, it’s flagged right away, and when work no longer fits today, you’re offered a plan that moves it to the next day.

Follow two Wednesdays, start to finish. This student’s is on the second tab.

It works without the internet.

You can read the plan, add and complete tasks, defer them, time them and re-solve, all with no connection.
